 El Salvador, is located in Central America,
limited to the north and east with Honduras, to the west with Guatemala
and to the South with the Pacific Ocean. San Salvador is the capital of this country.

Spanish, but a high
percentage speaks english

6.1 million people.


CURRENCY:
The local currency is the dollar. Credit cards are acepted.

El Salvador's temperate climate means that beaches can be visited all year around,
even while it is snowing in the United States, raining in Mexico City, and chilly
in nearby Guatemala. The Pacific Coast beckons tourists with 200 miles of black and
white sand beaches, interesting wave breaks, and an abundance of seafood.

COMUNICATIONS:
168 stations are commercial radio stations and 2 owned by the salvadoran
government. 12 television channels are commercial ones and only one owned by the goverment,
all of them with color transmition. There are 3 cable companies.


CLIMATE:
365 sunny days. The average temperature is 28°C. (aprox). Between 25 and 28
centigrades
